We built and support a full patient management system and mobile app to keep patients engaged

Having worked with Illingworth Research Group for over 4 years, we are an embedded resource and full team extension to their core service offering; Patient Concierge Services.

Our team of analysts, technology leaders, engineers and developers provide ongoing development and support of a full-suite back office system that keeps the engine of clinical trials turning.

This allows the team at IRG to focus on what they do best, care for and look after patients.

Problems

A few problems we needed to solve:
  • The clinical trial process is complex
  • The system has to automate multiple tasks
  • Regulatory processes are restrictive
  • Over 8 different user types need access
1) Integrated team dynamics
By integrating our analysts and project managers into their business, we became domain experts in their space. This means we can prescribe solutions to problems they didn’t know could be solved.
2) Process heavy, everywhere
Given the nature of clinical trials, there is a lot of paperwork, reporting and checking of things. We managed to automate a lot of systems saving time and energy in all departments.
3) Solution architecture
Carefully architected data structures, access rights and controls were put in place to manage auditability and compliance.
4) Multi-role multi-rights access
From patients, to sponsors, to travel organisers, logistics teams, research nurses ground transportation and re-payment vendors. Everyone needs something from this system!  We delivered.
