Transforming patient care in hospitals

Voice-Care

Voice-Care is a ground-breaking solution developed specifically for the healthcare sector, designed to progressively transform patient safety and care

As our partnership with Voice-Care evolves, we have built systems currently on trial at 4 NHS Trusts, including a leading London based NHS Trust.

The system is a voice directed program that allows doctors and nurses to work hands-free using a special Jabra headset. A leading London based NHS Trust trial included compliance reporting (usually done on paper) being completed using an AI-powered headset, meaning nurses, anaesthetists and doctors can work hands free, and negate major risks.

“My general thoughts about the voice care system are extremely positive and I and my team can see the wider potential in the delivery of other protocol-based procedures and checklists.”

Problems

A few problems we needed to solve:
  • Integration with Hardware
  • Changes of behaviour in users
  • Compliant and regulated processes
  • Demanding a high success from pilot
1) Seamless integration
Working with the hardware manufactures we created a simple process for implementation and rapid prototyping.
2) Nurse interviews
Multiple workshops with key user groups led us to a place where the product will be used, without the need for training.
3) Auditable reporting
Each use of the Voice-Care system resulted in compliance reports fed directly to a back office system.
4) Successful pilot
Extra time was taken on-site and in testing/validation to ensure the success of the trials.
